Adelaide Växland

Adelaide Växland is a multicultural photographer based in Finland and the London area. She is soon to graduate from the University College for the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons.) in Photography & Media Arts.

Adelaide’s personal work focuses on exploring the boundaries of reality and fantasy, using allegorical themes and surrealistic views to convey a deeper message. At times political, at times darkly subversive, furthered by the use of digital postproduction, Adelaide’s work explores the myriad tensions and complexities of contemporary society.

Using a broad range of subjects, from friends and family to the artist herself, she has also found inspiration collaborating with up and coming musicians.
