Alexander Murrin's work explores space and place, where he looks into the transformation of a space created by the shift into night and uses ambient lighting to create his images. His work creates feelings of the uncanny, and his images bring with them an impression of an unseen presence, which brings forward ideas of peoples irrational fears and uncertainty's in life.

This sequence of work the 'Unseen Gaze' explores this notion of an unseen presence within a familiar space such as your home. These image create an impression of the uncanny within an environment that would otherwise appear to be a safe place and transforms this space into an almost threatening environment.
