Jonas Thomén

Jonas is a Media Artist from mid-western Finland, a village called Sandsund, at the countryside near the sea. He's mainly doing landscape and nature photography but also some astro-photography and environmental issues. Being from the north means that the winter days are just a few hours long, and during the summer months it never goes dark, This has resulted in that much of his photography is about light, from the different kinds of natural light to artificial light in the landscape.

Jonas also enjoys working with video and sound. He has been composing music for almost 20 years.
