Rachel Carpenter

Rachel is interested in topics that deal with 'the unreal' like mythology, legends and folk tales and some philosophy theories such as dreams and ideas around the unconscious. In the past few years she has tried different methods to capture pieces and sequences of her dreams in photographs. she prefers experimenting in the darkroom as supposed to digital, using double exposures and vibrant colors are some of the effects she uses to connect her ideas to her audience.
